{"id":1661,"date":"2015-12-13T08:42:47","date_gmt":"2015-12-13T08:42:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/modified.globecore.com\/?p=1661"},"modified":"2016-06-13T09:14:48","modified_gmt":"2016-06-13T09:14:48","slug":"modified-bitumen-storage-sbm-30-upgraded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/modified.globecore.com\/modified-bitumen-storage-sbm-30-upgraded\/","title":{"rendered":"Modified Bitumen Storage SBM-30 has been Upgraded"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>2015 <i>Globecore<\/i> engineering department completed upgrading \u00a0and improving modified bitumen storage tank SBM-30.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The result of this meticulous work is a production of the first two units of upgraded equipment in December 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The updated model of storage tank SBM-30 has following features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>hollow part of the bottom now has a 200 mm heat insulation;<\/li>\n<li>overall length is now l 650 mm less;<\/li>\n<li>tank operational capacity increased from 27 to 30 m3;<\/li>\n<li>new roof shape prevents rain water accumulation;<\/li>\n<li>inspection manhole has bigger opening;<\/li>\n<li>unit is fixed with brackets on the roof for control cabinet transportation;<\/li>\n<li>bitumen level in the tank is controlled by a membrane pressure sensor. Its block is mounted at the bottom of the tank;<\/li>\n<li>control cabinet now has a design with two doors. Control panel with indication tools is installed on the inside door. The external door prevents dust and rainfall getting into controls. It has a glass window that allows monitoring sensor readings without opening a control cabinet;<\/li>\n<li>new design also includes emergency overflow pipeline preventing hot bitumen spillage \u00a0in emergency situations;<\/li>\n<li>A model of storage tank is optimized on minimal material consumption, \u00a0reducing total weight of equipment by 1000 kg.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2015 Globecore engineering department completed upgrading \u00a0and improving modified bitumen storage tank SBM-30.
